The Come Together Foundation is dedicated to promoting leadership in the state of Michigan through volunteerism, youth athletics, and youth entertainment. The Detroit Pistons are proud to support charitable organizations throughout the state of Michigan through the Pistons Payday 50-50 Raffle Program, as it is designed to provide non-profit organizations an opportunity to raise funds in partnership with the Come Together Foundation. 


To be considered as a participant, non-profit organizations must submit the following: 1) Copy of organization’s current Form 990 2) Copy of organization’s 501(c)(3) form and tax exempt identification number 3) Completed application form 4) High resolution logo


  1. Partner Non-Profit must be able to provide 30 adult (18 years and older) volunteers to work one or a series of mutually agreed upon Pistons home game(s) for the 2014-15 season. 
  2. Volunteers must agree to duties including: working with mobile tablets, selling tickets, and handling cash. All volunteers must arrive 2 ½ hours prior to tipoff.  Volunteers will receive a brief tutorial of all equipment prior to being stationed at designated locations around the Palace. Volunteers will be on their feet and selling for approximately four hours.
  3. Any missing proceeds will be deducted from Partner Non-Profit’s share of raffle proceeds. The Come Together Foundation will provide volunteers with parking passes, game tickets, Pistons Payday uniforms and a light snack.
  4. Partner Non-Profit is required to manage all other volunteer coordination including, but not limited to: recruiting, documentation, and timely attendance to training sessions and raffle game date(s)
  5. Net raffle proceeds shall be divided between the raffle winner (50%), Come Together Foundation (30%), and partner non-profit (20%)
  6. The Come Together Foundation reserves the right to reduce Partner Non-Profit’s portion of the raffle proceeds  by up to 10% if the terms listed above are not met by the Partner Non-Profit

By Clicking Submit, I hereby certify that I am at least 18 years of age and authorized to represent the above non-profit organization.  I understand that any misrepresentation or misleading information on this form or accompanying documents will be cause for rejection of this application or any future applications for this program.  The applying organization is solely responsible for the actions of its volunteers and will be liable for any misuse of funds or inappropriate conduct.   I certify that the applying organization has or will conduct background checks on all volunteers prior to their participation in the Pistons Payday 50-50 Raffle program.  Should the requesting organization receive the opportunity to participate in the 50-50 Raffle, it grants the Detroit Pistons, Come Together Foundation, Palace Sports & Entertainment and their affiliates the unrestricted right to use its name, likeness an/or image for any reasonable purpose related, but not limited to the promotion of the 50-50 Raffle and/or the Come Together Foundation.
